ERIE, Colo. — The Town of Erie will no longer fly Pride and Juneteenth flags on municipal flagpoles after a contentious town council vote in late August that passed by a single vote, 4-3.
The decision affects six town-owned flagpoles located at Town Hall, the police station, the cemetery and other municipal locations. Erie will only display the U.S., Colorado, Town of Erie and Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flags.
