BOULDER, Colo. — Half-Fast Subs is back in business after an electrical fire forced the longtime Boulder sandwich shop to close for eight months, and loyal customers wasted no time lining up to celebrate its return.
Owner Fred Liskowski reopened the popular sub shop Monday after months of cleanup and repairs. He said he wasn’t sure what to expect, but the steady stream of customers showed him how much the business had been missed.
“I’m very excited,” Liskowski said. “We’re finally open after eight months. Seems like it took forever. But we’re open, serving sandwiches, serving pitchers, we’re ready to go.”…
