Over 100 animals rescued after search warrant served at Brighton home

DENVER (KDVR) — Dozens of animals of various species were rescued from a home in Brighton after authorities searched the residence on a warrant related to an animal cruelty investigation.

On Wednesday, detectives executed the search warrant at the home in the 14600 block of Umpire Street, which is just northeast of the Denver International Airport.
