DENVER (KDVR) — Three people were arrested on multiple counts of motor vehicle theft in a joint effort by the Boulder Police Department, Adams County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and the Colorado State Patrol.
The investigation began in Boulder when the department was notified by a Flock license-plate reader camera of a stolen truck in the city. Officers then learned that the stolen pickup truck also had a possibly stolen motorcycle in the bed.

The police department said that as officers coordinated their response, “individuals approached the stolen truck on motorcycles and an e-bike.” Then, they drove off on the motorcycles and in the stolen truck, the department said.
A short time later, the individuals were located at a house in unincorporated Adams County…
