DENVER (KDVR) — Two people were injured in a shooting on Saturday in Westminster near Standley Lake, spurring a police investigation.
The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. on Saturday near 88th Avenue and Field Street. The Westminster Police Department said that when officers arrived on scene, they found a male victim lying on the ground near a car.
Further investigation showed that the victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds before driving off the road into a fence.
