On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, most City and County of Denver government offices will be closed for Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The closure includes the Mayor’s Office, City Council offices, Clerk and Recorder’s Office, Auditor’s Office, and most other city agencies. Essential services and some partner entities, such as Denver Health and Denver International Airport, will remain open.
Emergency services will continue as normal. Members of the Denver Sheriff, Police, and Fire departments, as well as other emergency responders, will work on November 11. Public safety and emergency response will not be affected by the closure.
Several city functions will be unavailable. The 3-1-1 information line for non-emergency services will be closed. Residents can still submit service requests online or use the city’s chatbot, Sunny, via text. Denver 8 TV will continue its programming, and schedule information is available on its website.
