Vandals spray-paint veterans memorial in Colorado park

Vandals struck at a veterans memorial at a park about 23 miles northeast of Denver last week, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.

The Adams County Veterans Memorial, located in Riverdale Regional Park in Brighton, Colorado, is a replica of the World War II battleship USS Colorado. The memorial was vandalized with white spray paint and a bench was damaged, Adams County Parks officials said on social media.
