AURORA | Aurora police have arrested a man they say was the gunman in a nonfatal shooting last month at a west Aurora apartment complex, the department said this week.
Christopher “Sandwich” Cole was arrested Wednesday on an active warrant for his arrest in connection to accusations of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault with a deadly weapon and felony menacing, according to a statement from Aurora police spokesperson Joe Moylan.
Investigators say the charges stem from a Nov. 4 shooting that followed an argument about money.
