Police seek suspect vehicle in hit-in-run crash on I-70

DENVER (KDVR) — Police are searching for a suspect vehicle connected to a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 70, according to a press release from Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

On Dec. 22, around 7:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of a hit-and-run that took place on westbound I-70 east of the Sheridan Boulevard Exit.

Suspects sought after $120K stolen from Arapahoe County Fairgrounds

Investigators said that the suspect vehicle merged into the far-left lane and hit a motorcyclist, causing a crash that resulted in serious injuries to the motorcycle rider, before fleeing from the scene.

The suspect vehicle was described by police as a white or light-colored, newer Jeep Cherokee with unidentified license plates.
