DENVER (KDVR) — Evacuation orders have been lifted in southeast Boulder County after a wildfire on Monday afternoon.
Smoke could be seen for miles around the fire, in the area of 144th Avenue and Highway 287, north of Northwest Parkway.
Here’s why it doesn’t have to be hot for a wildfire to spark
The all-clear was issued for areas including Dillon Road and Highway 287, and north of Dillon Road and south of Northwest Parkway. Those areas had been under the earlier evacuation orders.
Roads were closed in the area due to the fire, but have since reopened.
