Police looking for driver accused of hitting, killing pedestrian

DENVER — Denver police are asking for help finding a driver they said hit and killed a pedestrian on Friday evening, then drove away from the scene without stopping to help.

The crash happened at North Kalamath Street and West 11th Avenue near downtown Denver at around 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 2.

Police said a person was crossing North Kalamath Street from west to east when they were hit by someone driving a Grey Honda Accord Crosstour. The driver then left the scene of the crash.

Police said the vehicle involved may have damage to the front passenger side bumper and headlight…
