More than 400 complaints filed on contaminated gas at Colorado pumps

DENVER (KDVR) — More than 400 complaints have been filed with the state of Colorado after cars were filled with gas that was contaminated with diesel fuel at pumps around the Denver area and into northern Colorado.

The Division of Oil and Public Safety gave the updated number on Monday afternoon. The fuel was sold between last Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 7 and 8.

King Soopers and Safeway both confirmed a list of locations. The state said reports were also coming in from Costco and Murphy Express locations, among others.
