DENVER (KDVR) — Fire crews are investigating a fire that is believed to have been started by an avocado tree warming apparatus, according to a social media post from Mountain View Fire Rescue.
On Saturday night, Mountain View Fire Rescue and Lafayette Fire responded to reports of a structure fire on Daily Drive in Erie.

When the crews arrived at the home, they discovered that a device that was heating an avocado tree had caught fire, which spread to the side of the house.
The homeowners and neighbors teamed up to prevent the fire from spreading any further, getting buckets of water out and dousing the flames. The fire crews joined in and had the fire extinguished before it could make contact with the interior of the house…
