Hundreds of beers and dozens of kegs spill onto Colorado road after semi tips

According to the Wheat Ridge Police Department, a road was closed at about 11 p.m. on Wednesday night after a semi truck carrying beer blew a tire and tipped over.

The incident took place on the Highway 58 flyover to eastbound I-70, with it reported that hundreds of beers and dozens of kegs spilled out onto Youngfield Street. Youngfield Street was closed as a result.

The driver of the semi truck was transported to the hospital with injuries, though additional information related to the extent of those injuries was not provided. The clean-up following the crash took about five hours, with the road having since reopened…
