Christopher and Ariana Teigland, the married duo behind Denver’s Glo Noodle House, are bringing culinary inspiration to Boulder this spring with a new sushi eatery, Odd Rabbit, a “traditionally non-traditional” sushi restaurant set to open at 5845 Arapahoe Ave., just a few blocks from where the couple first met while working at Josea Rosenberg’s Blackbelly Market & Restaurant.
Known for Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognized ramen and creative Japanese-inspired cooking at Glo, the Teiglands announced on Tuesday that they’ll craft a sushi-focused menu for the new 3,500-square-foot space in Boulder, which will seat 90 inside, as well as a 10-seat chef’s counter and a 40-person patio space, a release states.
The menu will center on sushi, with nigiri selections such as hamachi, uni and spicy tuna, alongside handrolls and specialty dishes like salmon sashimi and tuna tataki. Chef Stephen Nguyen, known for his work at Denver’s Temaki Den and for launching sushi service at Uncle, a ramen shop in Denver’s Highland neighborhood, will oversee the raw fish component…
