Four Boulder Valley school principals to resign or retire in May

Principals at four Boulder Valley schools recently announced they are resigning or retiring at the end of the school year.

Boulder High School Principal Alana Morales is resigning after four years leading the school. She’s taking a position as the principal at Rocky Vista High School, a new school under construction in Commerce City that’s part of Brighton School District 27J.

In a letter to Boulder High families, she called her time as the school’s principal “one of the greatest honors of my career” and promised a seamless transition to a new principal in the fall…
