A man died at Steamboat Resort Wednesday. He is 59-year-old Philip H. Riedel, from Longmont, as identified by Routt County Coroner Mitch Locke, who said it happened around noon.
A Steamboat Resort spokesperson provided a statement, confirming a medical event at the resort, where Steamboat Ski Patrol responded immediately and administered care until emergency responders arrived.
