Man accused of attacking Boulder officer charged with attempted murder

BOULDER, Colo. — The Boulder County District Attorney’s Office has filed attempted murder charges against a man accused of fighting with a Boulder Police officer.

According to a release from the City of Boulder, officers were called to an apartment complex in the 1800 block of 22nd Street for a report of a man threatening another man and possibly possessing a gun just after 5 p.m. on Feb. 9.

According to court documents, a man reported that the suspect was on a balcony and yelled down to him in the parking lot. He said the man yelled, “Touch the black car and die,” and believed he could have been holding a gun or something else…
