The Dairy Arts Center invites artists, curators, and collectives to submit proposals for its 2027 Call for Art Exhibitions, a national open call seeking bold, thoughtful, and conceptually driven visual art projects. This open call welcomes proposals across all visual art mediums that push boundaries and foster meaningful public engagement. The Dairy’s 2027 visual arts program prioritizes work grounded in storytelling, cultural inquiry, community connection, and experimental approaches to material, form, and narrative. Whether emerging or established, artists at all career stages are encouraged to apply. Selected applicants will collaborate closely with The Dairy’s Curator of Visual Arts, Stella Witcher, to develop and present exhibitions in 2027.

- Fee: $40 per application; financial assistance is available upon request
- Eligibility: Open to artists 18+ residing in the U.S.; all media and career levels welcome

- Artist statement describing the concept and its exhibition context
- 2–10 work samples (any media accepted)
Selection Process & Support
Applications will be reviewed by a jury including members of The Dairy’s Visual Arts Committee, guest jurors, and arts professionals. Selected artists will be notified in May 2026 and will work collaboratively with Dairy staff and jurors to refine their exhibitions.
