Two bald eagles re-enter the wild after months of rehabilitation in Colorado

Colorado Parks and Wildlife has announced that two bald eagles have been successfully rehabilitated and re-released in the area of Banner Lakes State Wildlife Area northeast of Brighton.

The release took place on Monday, following both birds spending months under professional care.

The eagle kept the longest had been in rehab since last February, found in weak conditions in the Longmont area.
