DENVER (KDVR) — A bicyclist is dead after a crash involving a dump truck on the Diagonal Highway near Boulder on Friday morning.
Colorado State Patrol said it responded around 11:02 a.m. to Highway 119 and Niwot Road where there were reports that a dump truck and bicycle had crashed.
According to CSP, the crash happened eastbound on Niwot Road. When the traffic signal turned green, both the dump truck and the bicycle proceeded forward. Then, the dump truck turned right onto southbound Highway 119, while the bicycle continued straight.
