No one hospitalized in Lafayette 2-car crash that closed lanes of East Baseline Road

No one was hospitalized in a crash that temporarily closed eastbound East Baseline Road in Lafayette on Tuesday afternoon.

About 2:30 p.m., Lafayette police responded to a crash involving a Nissan Rogue and a Honda CRV, according to Lafayette Administrative Sergeant Jeremy Molander. One driver was following closely while distracted and they couldn’t stop in time when they noticed the car in front was braking, Molander said. That driver was cited for following too closely. One driver complained of pain, but neither driver was taken to the hospital, Molander said. No one else was in either vehicle.
