Man sentenced to prison after deadly Wheat Ridge crash

GOLDEN, Colo. — A man charged in connection to a deadly crash in Wheat Ridge in 2024 was sentenced to prison last week.

John Bormolini, 55, pleaded guilty in Jefferson County Court to vehicular homicide and vehicular assault charges in December, according to court records. He was sentenced Friday to six years in prison for the vehicular homicide charge and two years for the vehicular assault charge. The sentences are concurrent, making the total six years. Several other charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
