DENVER (KDVR) — Police in the city of Boulder are looking for a driver accused of taking off after striking a man who fell off the back of a Lime scooter on Broadway overnight Thursday.
The Boulder Police Department said the crash happened at approximately 2:19 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Broadway and 17th Street, when a 21-year-old man riding as a passenger on the scooter was struck by a vehicle after falling and stumbling into Broadway.

BPD said the operator of the scooter, identified as a 22-year-old man, described the vehicle as a dark, 4-door Jeep. The scooter operator said the driver of the vehicle slowed down but failed to stop before continuing to drive south on Broadway.
The scooter was being operated on the west sidewalk of Broadway when the passenger lost his balance and fell off, according to police, who said the man suffered “serious bodily injury” and was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he is currently in stable condition…
