A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after a driver cut him off while he was riding an e-bike Monday morning in west Lafayette.
The boy was riding an e-bike in a bike lane eastbound on West South Boulder approaching Edessa Drive when an SUV headed westbound turned onto Edessa Drive and cut the boy off, according to Lafayette Police Department Chief Brian Rosipajla. The boy struck the SUV and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Rosipajla said.
