Colorado on the way to record job losses for 2025 as data finalized

Colorado’s job market shrank in the middle of 2025, according to new data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The state’s labor market contracted by 0.6 percent during the third quarter compared to the prior year, according to updated data from the federal agency. The overall U.S. job market grew by 0.1 percent during that timeframe, the data show.
