Brighton Cops Race To Find Two Girls Who Vanished On Morning Walk

Authorities in Brighton are urgently searching for two girls who disappeared Tuesday morning after they were seen walking southbound in the 800 block of South 9th Avenue. The pair, 12-year-old Briana Rivas-Alvarez and 13-year-old Omarlys “Sophie” Rojas-Ramos, were last spotted at about 8:30 a.m., and officials say they are increasingly worried about the girls’ safety as the search stretches on.
