More than 2,600 customers are without power, with most of those in south Boulder, after Xcel Energy warned of outages ahead of Thursday’s windstorm.
Power is out for at least 2,668 customers in Boulder County as of about 3 p.m., according to Xcel, amid a windstorm that has already brought with it gusts above 75 mph and road closures. Another 816 customers are without power across south Lyons, according to the Poudre Valley REA outage map.
There are also 939 customers without power scattered between Boulder and Larimer counties, and 37 without power between Boulder and Jefferson counties as of 3 p.m., according to Xcel’s outage map. The locations of those outages were not clear…
