Felony suspect found hiding in stranger’s attic in Wheat Ridge, allegedly told police he was napping

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (KKTV) – A suspect with a felony warrant out for his arrest was taken into custody after being found in a stranger’s attic last week, according to Wheat Ridge police.

On March 13, the Wheat Ridge Police Department (WRPD) said officers were in the area of West 55th Avenue and Dover Street when they spotted a vehicle whose registered owner had an outstanding arrest warrant.

After watching a man leave the car and enter a nearby home, police said they positively identified him as the registered vehicle owner…
