Georgia homicide suspect arrested in Denver, according to U.S. Marshals Service

KATHLEEN, Ga. (WRBL) — A female homicide suspect was located and arrested on Wednesday around 3 p.m. in Denver for a Kathleen, Georgia homicide that took place on March 12, 2026. The U.S. Marshals Service Colorado Violent Offender Task Force located and arrested the suspect.

According to U.S. Marshals Service, 27-year-old Tylar Oglesby of Warner Robins, Georgia, is wanted by the Perry (GA) Police Department in connection to the March 12 fatal shooting of Diante Oates at the Houseton Lake Apartments in Kathleen, which is roughly 35 minutes from Macon, Georgia.

“This case is a prime example of the effectiveness of our task force when multiple agencies work together toward a common goal,” said U.S. Marshal for the District of Colorado, Kirk Taylor.

U.S. Marshals say officers responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting on Houston Lake Road. Upon officers’ arrival, they found Oates near the 1700 building, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The Houston County Coroner’s Office pronounced Oates dead at the scene when they arrived…
