BOULDER, Colo. (KDVR) — The first thing you see when you enter the East Window Gallery in Boulder is a half-century-old tattered baby picture of Davaki Murch.
“And this was one of the original images that my mom got when she was waiting for me when I was in Vietnam. And she got given this piece of paper that had this little picture of a baby, kind of like a puppy,” Murch told FOX31.
She was just 9 months old when she boarded a military plane in Vietnam. Orphaned during the Vietnam War, she was one of thousands of children evacuated from the war zone as enemy troops approached Saigon in April 1975.
