Boulder County is under a red flag warning Friday for elevations below 6,000 feet as the National Weather Service is warning of weather that could fan any wildfires that spark.
The warning is in effect from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, according to NWS. Low relative humidity and wind are the critical fire weather conditions that prompted the warning, according to NWS.
