People with warrants out for their arrest for certain low-level crimes may be able to get their warrants cleared if they attend a forgiveness event for the Broomfield and Adams counties’ judicial district.
The event will be held virtually from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, according to a news release from the district attorney’s office for Broomfield and Adams counties. People with low-level, non-violent misdemeanors and traffic offenses, some probation violations, Class 5 and 6 non-violent felonies, a Class 4 possession drug felony and/or failure to register warrants are eligible for forgiveness, the release states.
However, warrants for Victims’ Rights Amendment cases, domestic violence, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, sex offenses and felonies between Class 1 and 4 are not eligible for forgiveness, the release states…
