Denver had a historically warm winter, but an end-of-the-season snowstorm left Denver with cold temperatures in early May. Now, temperatures are warming back up, and the Pinpoint Weather team expects mid-May to be the hottest day of the year so far.

The highest temperature is predicted to be on Wednesday, when Denver could see 88 degrees. This is nearing the record daily high, set in 1915 at 90 degrees. While Denver is getting close to the record, the Pinpoint Weather team said it may not hit 90 degrees.
