WESTMINSTER, Colo. (KDVR) — Cell phones and other personal devices provide convenience and a sense of connection for students and their parents, but teachers and some students say they can also serve as a distraction from learning.
Westminster School District now bans the use of cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, gaming devices, and other forms of personal technology in accordance with the state law requiring districts to have a plan in place by July 1.
