Erie school on hold, 2 Boulder Valley schools briefly went on hold amid unverified threats

Erie Middle School is on a hold after locking down, and two Boulder Valley high schools were on a hold amid a series of unverified threats on Monday morning.

Erie Middle School went on a lockdown at about 11:30 a.m. for an unverified bomb threat, before going into a hold at about 1:12 p.m., according to Erie Police Department spokesperson Amber Luttrell. Centaurus High School in Lafayette and Broomfield High School were cleared and taken off their hold as of about 11:55 a.m., according to Boulder Valley School District spokesperson Randy Barber.
