Avoid high repair costs from potholes after rain and snow

DENVER (KDVR) — The spring rain and high-country snow can worsen potholes as the pavement expands and contracts while being weakened by water.

“I’ve got bent wheels, actually, as we speak right now,” Chris Heil told FOX31.

FOX31 found a series of expanding potholes on eastbound 6th Avenue just after the exit from Interstate 70, as well as expanding potholes on 8th Avenue near Fox Street.
