SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A proposal to convert an abandoned Walgreens into a 24-hour 7-Eleven gas station is drawing mixed reactions from neighbors near the corner of North Tamiami Trail and Myrtle Street.
According to redevelopment plans submitted to the city, the project would include a roughly 4,853-square-foot store, 10 fueling stations, nearly 30 parking spaces and new driveways into the property.
