SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – 4th of July weather is nearly a replay of the 3rd of July for the Suncoast— A quiet start, followed by a chance for midday and afternoon thunderstorms. Some storms could be briefly strong where the sea breeze runs into other boundaries, and heavy rain would be the main thing to watch. Sunday is more likely to bring a few morning thunderstorms. It will not rain everywhere, storms will be scattered.
