SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Sarasota run club hosted a 5K Sunday morning to raise money for families affected by the earthquake in Venezuela.
The Latinas Run Club organized the event. Organizer Noemi Ottenwalder said news of the destruction prompted her to act.
“As you can see in the news and everywhere, Venezuela is suffering a really bad situation right now,” Ottenwalder said. “I found 7 Estrellas, a foundation and an organization here established that is located in Miami and they have extensions to Venezuela.”…
