SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sergeant Dennis Orbino enlisted in the Marines at 17. He served three tours in Vietnam, earned his sergeant’s rank at 19 and led 18 missions. During his third tour, he switched places with a fellow Marine before a final mission — and never came home.
More than 55 years later, the people he left behind gathered at a Sarasota restaurant to tell his story together for the first time.
