High-visibility enforcement initiatives to bring attention to the safety of pedestrians and bicyclists will be held by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office at various intersections and areas of road over the next year.
“Enforcement efforts will focus primarily on education; however, violations may result in warnings or citations,” said Sheriff’s Office Media Relations Specialist Dana Judge.
