SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A longtime Sarasota community leader is being recognized for decades of service and fundraising efforts benefiting local children, teens, and adults with physical and cognitive challenges.
Lucy Nicandri, executive director of Suncoast Charities for Children, received the “Lifetime of Leadership” Award on Wednesday at the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s annual Leadership Sarasota luncheon.
