SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – North Sarasota County residents looking to dispose of unwanted household items and yard waste can take part in an upcoming free community cleanup event.
Join Sarasota County and drop off your items from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Newtown Estates Park, where dumpsters for residential customers will be available at 2800 Newtown Blvd., Sarasota. Additional free dumpsters will be located at the intersection of 23rd Street and Chester Avenue.
Small vehicle tires (limit of four tires per household), yard waste, tree trimmings, appliances, and discarded household items will be accepted…
