MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) — A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office K9 deputy is heading to Texas next month to compete for a national title.
The deputy, a Belgian Malinois named Vinnie, works with Lieutenant Jeremy Bertolino in the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit. The unit uses only Belgian Malinois dogs, which are bred in Europe.
