A man is facing a murder charge after Manatee County deputies say he punched his 85-year-old father during a fight, killing him.
During the fight, investigators say Kieran Cantwell punched his father once in the face, causing the 85-year-old to fall backward and strike his head on the floor. His father, Richard Cantwell, was taken to a hospital for treatment, but died four days later from his injuries, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
