Driver caught speeding in Sarasota school zone 4 days in a row

SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — A driver was captured on camera speeding in a Sarasota school zone four days in a row.

According to the Sarasota Police Department, the vehicle was recorded going 83 mph in a posted 40 mph zone. In separate incidents, the vehicle was also clocked driving 54 mph in a posted 45 mph zone, 65 mph in a 40 mph zone, and 62 mph in a 40 mph zone.

Photos posted on the police department’s Facebook show the car speeding near Tuttle Elementary School and AltaVista Elementary School on four separate occasions.

The police department said that the owner received four notices of violation for unlawful speeding in a speed zone, totaling $100 for each. If the registered owner does not pay, the violation may increase to a $206 uniform traffic citation…
