SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – An 18-year-old with a learner’s permit somehow escaped injury Tuesday when his vehicle crashed through a fence along I-275 and overturned, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The driver of a Toyota Avalon with worn tires was traveling northbound on I-275, north of Fletcher Avenue, at about 8 a.m., investigators said.
