A Bradenton man accused of killing a woman last week admitted to choking, sexually battering and repeatedly slapping her during a dispute over money, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Rodney Charles Booth, 64, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 41-year-old Shelikia Yashana Lee, according to court records. Deputies discovered Lee unresponsive late Thursday night in a parking lot at 5105 14th Street West, near a now-closed WingHouse restaurant, the sheriff’s office said.
