Travelers using Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport will have another reason to start making their spring travel plans early. Avelo Airlines has extended its booking schedule through April 20, 2027, opening additional spring travel dates across its network, including service involving Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). The Houston-based low-cost carrier says customers can now book flights to more than 35 destinations across the United States and Puerto Rico.
For Sarasota and Manatee County travelers, the schedule extension is particularly noteworthy because Avelo continues to provide nonstop service connecting SRQ with the Northeast.
Avelo’s Nonstop Destinations From Sarasota-Bradenton
Avelo currently offers nonstop service between Sarasota-Bradenton and Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Connecticut, an increasingly popular alternative airport for travelers headed to southern Connecticut and portions of the New York metropolitan area. Published schedules currently show approximately two nonstop flights per week on the Sarasota-New Haven route during portions of the fall schedule, although frequencies and operating days change throughout the season. The nonstop flight is approximately three hours.
Avelo is also offering seasonal nonstop service from SRQ to Wilmington Airport (ILG) in Delaware, which the airline markets as an alternative gateway for the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley region.
